Whitwell will be celebrating the 2022 Platinum Jubilee in style on Friday 3rd June with a variety of exciting events, live entertainment, street party and more taking place! 

Some events may need a little preparation, including;  

• Children aged 5-16  - Poetry Competition - write a poem
• What the Queen means to you- Painting Competition - paint a portrait of the Queen
• Baking Competition - bake a Platinum Jubilee cake
• Adults - Poetry Competition - write a poem, what the Queen means to you
• Baking Competition - produce a Platinum Jubilee pudding
• Best Dressed Garden - decorate and style your front garden to celebrate the Jubilee
