The Devil's Chimney

Parks & Walks

Please note, this is temporarily closed - more info

***

This walk will take you on an adventure down the Devil's Chimney, which is a narrow, steep path set in the rocky cliff face.  It was said to be once used by smugglers to give them quick access to the bay below.  You will be able to explore caves, hideouts and even have a photo sat on the wishing chair!

Start your walk at the Landslip Carpark, Bonchurch, near to the Smuggler's Haven Tea Gardens.  Both walks are circular and you can choose the length of walk you'd like by looking at the routes on the link below.
