Wolverton is the Island's largest traditional garden fair, and boasts lots to see and do across the weekend. 

There are over 140 amazing Island & mainland nurseries, garden & craft stalls showcasing their wares. 

  • Elizabethan dancing, cooking demonstrations with Passamezzo. 
  • Classic car, bike, military vehicle & engine displays.
  • Woodcarving & IOW coppice displays, farmers market & food trucks, vintage amusements, 'have a go' archery, kayaking around the moat. 
  • Dog agility displays & shows, IOW donkey sanctuary, West Wight alpacas and Haven falconry displays, re-enactments by Wolfguard, magic with Randini, live music and so much more over both days!
Admission on the day is £8.00 per adult - Children under 14 go free! 
Advance ticket price is £6.00  -  Available while stocks last from Waterstones Newport, The Brighstone Village Shop and Hose Rhodes Dicksons Ryde.

Tickets can also be purchased on the door. The fair opens from 10am till 5pm both days. We have tickets booths on entrances at the door price of £8 Adult. This is a charity event and is a flat rate for all adults, Children under 14 go free. All profits from the fair stay on the Island helping Age UK Isle of Wight to support out older residents. 

The garden fair is a dog friendly event, all dogs must be kept on their leads and consideration must be given to the other animals when going into the Hare Garden as we have many local animals visiting such as West Wight Alpacas, IOW Donkey Sanctuary and Haven Falconry.

Whilst some exhibitors offer card payments, some are cash only, signal can be intermittent across the site so aren't always possible, the fair is set in Shorwell and the nearest cash point is Newport so don't forget to make a stop before you arrive.
