Freshwater Bay

Being south-westerly facing, this beach gets the best of the evening sun, making it ideal to visit for a swim or a drink on warm, summer evenings.  On those evenings, the water can be calm in the bay and ideal for floating around on a paddle board or exploring the rocks and caves.

Facilities

- Wightwood Pizza is often there on the seafront from early evening with their pizza oven to provide some delicious pizza.  Booking is advised as demand is high.  Visit their Facebook page for more information.

- There are no public toilets at the beach

- Parking is expensive and can be limited in the peak season

- The Piano Cafe along with the Freshwater Bay Independent Lifeboat Shop all provide refreshments nearby
