Lake Beach

Lake Beach is a fantastic family beach and tends to be quieter than its neighbours, Shanklin and Sandown.  A huge flat, sandy beach with shallow, clear waters make it safe and perfect for little ones to run around on the sand and paddle in the sea.

Park at the top of the cliff in the Winchester House carpark and make your way left along the path and down the steps to the beach.  The walk down the  cliff is fairly quick and easy with only steep steps right at the bottom.  If you want to avoid the climb down to the beach, you can park at Shanklin or Sandown and walk along the promenade (easy access if you have a buggy).

Visit the Blueberry's Café next to the carpark for food, drinks and ice creams.
