Medina Riverside Park Walk

A nature reserve set just next to the River Medina on the western side.  This walk is great for buggies and part of it goes along the Newport to Cowes cycle track (old railway line).

The circular walk that we'd recommend takes around 45 minutes and starts at the end of Dodnor Lane outside the Riverside Paddock Touring Park.  To start with you head down the hill straight to the river and then turn left and walk north along the river and across a walkway which has water either side.  The path eventually bears left and heads down a path towards the cycle track.  Once you get to the cycle track, you find the ruins of the old cement kilns.  At this point you turn left again so that you head back south to the point you started.
