Get your Christmas gifts sorted online with small and local businesses and support the Isle of Wight Foodbanks in the process!

Virtual raffles and stalls - This event will showcase the unique products and services of Isle of Wight based small businesses, all with the aim of supporting the Isle of Wight Foodbank through the festive season. 

Small business owners have been especially hard hit by Covid-19 and the use of Foodbanks has also increased as a result of the pandemic. It is predicted that there will be a 61% rise in need for food parcels during the winter and families with children have been hardest hit with food insecurity so far this year. This event hopes to bring support to these groups by showcasing the magic of small and local businesses, encouraging everyone to shop small this Christmas, and raising funds for the local Foodbanks. Everyone deserves a warm Christmas meal, especially after the year we've all had. 

2020 has not been kind, but you still can be!

This event will take place through the group 'IOW Small Business Christmas Market in Support of IOW Foodbank'.  Each business will have one photo album which will be their stall, with details of their products and a bit about their business as well as details of how to purchase them and how much the business is able to donate from their revenue.  Guests will be able to follow links to pages for making purchases, comment to place orders or send messages to businesses directly, depending on the business's preference. Details of purchases and deliveries will be handled by the business themselves, through their own channels.

There will also be a RAFFLE with the opportunity to win a range of fantastic items generously donated by the businesses taking part. Raffle tickets can be purchased by filing out this survey and winners will be drawn on December 2nd. You will receive an invoice for the amount to be paid. Raffle tickets are £1 for 1 / £4 for 5 / £7 for 10. 100% of funds from raffle tickets will go to the Foodbank directly.
