Ventnor Botanic Gardens

Places to Visit

The Ventnor Botanic Gardens is situated at the southern tip of the Island, where they enjoy a micro-climate similar to the Mediterranean, which makes them the ideal home to over 33,000 plants from other parts of the world including Eucalyptus trees from Australia and the South African Agapanthus.

There are a number of different trails you can follow including the Secret Garden Trail and the Dinosaur Plant Trail.

Why it rocks

- there's a jungle like feel with lots to explore

- it's a great place for spotting lizards

- it's buggy friendly

- there's a lovely playground at the bottom of the gardens and a cafe by a pond where you can spot fish
